Measurement-Based Care (MBC)
Measurement-Based Care (MBC) is an evidence-based approach that uses standardized, patient-reported measures to track progress throughout treatment and ensure care is individualized, effective, and continuously improving. As a core component of quality improvement in behavioral health, MBC enables data-driven clinical decisions and earlier identification of when treatment adjustments are needed.
While MBC adoption remains limited among outpatient providers, IMBH actively promotes and supports its use with Aligned Care Provider Partners to ensure consistent, high-quality care. IMBH equips members and providers with intuitive digital tools that allow members to easily track symptoms and outcomes, while care teams gain real-time insight to guide treatment planning. IMBH also educates and assists providers in implementing MBC workflows to support better outcomes and accountability.
